Kenny Werner: Open Lecture
Effortless Mastery, Liberating the Master Musician within
The lecture is part of the international conference International Musicschool Seminar 2019 (IMS) which is organized by the Association des Écoles de Musique du Luxembourg (AEM) from 20 to 22 March with stage fright being this year's leading topic.
Kenny Werner is a world-renowned Jazz pianist as well as a composer with a Grammy nomination and Guggenheim Fellowship among his accomplishments. He is also author of the book Effortless Mastery, which has been translated into numerous languages and has changed the lives of countless professional and aspiring musicians. Kenny is now Artistic Director of the Effortless Mastery Institute at Berklee College of Music and has a regular article on Jazz Education in Downbeat Magazine.
The lecture will be followed by a round table discussion with the two other invited speakers of the IMS 2019, Prof. Kirsten Ecke (Germany) and Prof. Pascal Le Corre (France) as well as a short question and answer session with the audience.
